Current relays for AC and DC currents
Current relays monitor loads and electrical installations for under and overload. Single-phase as well as three-phase systems can be monitored.

The relays of the CME420 series monitor undercurrent and overcurrent in AC systems as well as the current between two threshold values (window discriminator function). The currents are measured as r.m.s. values (AC). The currently measured value is continuously shown on the LC display. The measured value leading to the activation of the alarm relays will be stored. |

The relays of the CSG140 series monitor the undercurrent of DC systems. The current is measured directly or by means of a shunt. External supply voltage is required. The response value, response delay and hysteresis are set via potentiometers. |
